Sandbrook Community Primary School reception children sang and performed their nativity for the residents at Ian Fraser Court in Rochdale.
Sameara Sheikh, Sandbrook Community Primary School said: “We arranged a beautiful visit to Ian Fraser Court for reception children to sing. It was a lovely.
“The reception children were so excited and dressed up for their special nativity performance.
“Mrs Gorden, Mrs Sheikh and Mrs Carter walked with the children from school to Ian Fraser.
“As a surprise the children made a big Christmas card from them to the residents and handmade wreaths to put on their Christmas trees.
“After the performance a resident played the piano beautifully and we all sang ‘We wish you a merry Christmas’ and ‘Silent night’. It was wonderful.
“Susan the manager and the residents were very welcoming and kind. As a surprise for the reception children they arranged for Santa to visit them and give them some treats. The children loved it.
“Ian Fraser kindly did a collection for Sandbrook Community Primary School. Susan, the volunteers and the residents have been amazing and the children at Sandbrook look forward to meeting them and always having a warm welcome.
“Everyone at Sandbrook appreciate the generosity and the very kind donation from Ian Fraser Court.
“We would like to say a very big thank you. And well done to the reception children for their beautiful nativity performance.”
